As an avid music collector for over 30 years, I have assembled a wide variety of rare items in various formats. My CD collection contains many rare out-of-print titles as well as hundreds of bootlegs, both CD and video. I also have over 500 bootleg audio cassettes that still need to be copied to CD-R. I am currently in the process of putting my entire collection on an Excel spreadsheet to make collecting and trading more organized. However, this is a very time consuming project, so I'm estimating it to take several months. My goal is to have the list completed by August of 2003. My copying equipment consists of a Phillips CDR Model 778 Audio CD Recorder, a Dell Dimension 2300 Desktop with a HP CD Burner, a Yamaha Model K32 Dual Cassette Deck, an Emerson CD/DVD/MP3 player, a TEAC CD-P1120 CD player, a Sanyo 4 head Hi-Fi VCR and a Sony 100 watt DE-485 Stereo Receiver. I recently purchased software to copy a DVD onto a regular CD-R, but am still learning how to master this task. This will come in handy since bootleg concerts are now being released on DVD's instead of video tape. If we trade CD's, please let me know what brand of CD-R's to use. Personally I like Imation, Maxell or TDK. For video tapes I like Maxell, TDK or Fuji. I record my bootleg videos in the SP (2 hour) speed for best quality. If you wish to trade or purchase some rare music items from me, the best thing to do is email me your want list or a list of artists you collect. I'll reply ASAP with a list of items I have for sale or trade. My collection includes all genres of music, from classic country to heavy metal to bluegrass. From AC/DC to Willie Nelson to ZZ Top. Throw in some Kasey Chambers, some Johnny Cash, some Iron Maiden and some vintage Elvis and I think you get the picture. For buying or trading, here's what you need to know. Trading items is definitely the easiest. You send me a CD from your collection and I send you one from mine. No $$$$ changes hands. If we can't trade and you want to purchase a CD or a CD-R copy of a bootleg, it's very easy. I'll email you a total price that will include shipping & handling (just a fancy way of saying postage & a padded envelope). When I receive your payment, I mail your package. I accept several forms of payment, including cash, check
or money order. I also accept paypal. Use email: dale@martinsmusic.com
when paying by paypal. Make checks or money orders payable to: Dale
